Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it is an interesting place in life. I am not sure that my mother’s dissertation would be helpful, and it isn’t available online but I’d be happy to send to you by email the summary. Also, the book she published was a compilation of the story’s or “fairy tales” women in a class she taught on mid-life wrote and may also be interesting as a read. I’m right there, in that place. At 55, my two youngest, twin boys, just graduated from high school. Don’t get me wrong, all three of my kids are amazing. I truly hit the kid lotto, but I feel like I’ve lived the last 28 years in someone else’s life. I write but don’t finish anything, too scared of criticism, rejection, or whatever excuse seems convenient on any particular day. I would love to read your mom’s dissertation. Because I am, right there, in that place, and don’t know where to go.
