Oh that’s brilliant Sue – it’s not easy to find a solution that everyone’s happy with, but it’s so worth it. As the authors, we’re the best ambassadors to go out there and sell the book, so it’s much easier to get behind something you love! Hurray for lovely publishers 🙂

This rang bells with me: I loved the first draft cover for my second novel but my writing partner hated it. We did some ‘market’ research with friends and discussed the finding with our publisher. I’m so grateful for her positive, open-minded response. She and her team came up with an alternative that we both love and hopefully so will our readers.

Thank you so much Nancy! I think your Irish blood will love this story – it’s a bit of a love-letter to my ancestors who lived and worked the land and made us who we are today. Can’t wait for this story to go out into the wild!

Allowing an author to have input in the jacket Viber is a wonderful attribute in a publisher.
