I was published by a small press before becoming an Indie writer. It wasn’t a good fit for me, and self-publishing was taking off. I learned the ins and outs of self-publishing the hard way, made mistakes, found better ways, but there wasn’t a site where I could find advice and the information I needed. So, I decided – with another FB friend – to create a FB site to help writers of all kinds.
So we created a list of professional editors, cover artists and formatters, as well as information on how to publish traditionally. We’ve won awards from Preditors and Editors and kudos from Writers Write.
However, you can lead writers to info, but you can’t make them use it. Blogs like this help. I’ll be copying this to the Group. Thanks!

Hybrid publishing now also has a second meaning: a traditionally published author who also self or indie publishes or an indie author who is also traditionally publised. For example, Hugh Howey. His print editions are now published by one of the big six (or is that five, now), but he has retained his ebook publishing rights.
