Eugenia has an amazing sense of humor and is a joy to be with. Unfortunately this year her grandson and physician did not give her the green light for travelling so I made the pilgrimage to Paros alone in May for Jovanka’s birthday remembrance.

The line about claiming to be her bodyguard made me laugh out loud, showing Victoria’s ability to add humor to an otherwise morose piece. This unlikely tale made for a story definitely worth sharing.
