I echo the above and just clicked on an interesting thing on the internet – the “Page 69” test. The theory is, open any book to page 69 and if you like the writing on that page, you will enjoy the book. I’ve tried it recently with a couple of books I just finished and one I’m in the middle of and it worked but that might just have been coincidence. I’m going to give it a try in the bookstore and library next time.
