THE FAMILY GENE by Joselin Linder caught my eye because I have just finished a family history that focused in part on the possible inheritance of depression and used the asylum records of my great grandmother. What Joselin Linder has done for her family, past and future is remarkable, and her offering herself as a spokesperson will make a difference in the world of medical research.
