Too many ‘others’ Oops. I meant to say what some other women writers think if it.

My very favorite passage is when you go to the market and get lost and
stay with a stranger, but come home with the groceries… terror! And your innocent courage through it all!

On this Veterans Day here 11/11, I am amazed, disappointed, and frustrated that it’s a day as usual. Our local schools are open! I’m thinking this is a day to remember and remember… how else we will avoid war in the future?

My Dad, Uncle Joe, Uncle Sal, Uncle Carl, Uncle Tony, cousins, and my brother served. They returned, but they never forgot what they saw, not the hollowness that day after day of fear brought to them.

Thanks for sending this, Beryl. Be well, and take care. In gratitude for true friendship, Mary Latela
