What most caught my attention was the range of skills required to juggle so many balls in a given work day. It must be tempting to put your favourite tasks at the top of your list. But in doing so I guess there is the risk of not applying enough time to the more mundane tasks. SO you must be very disciplined to boot!

Thanks so much for the comment! I do love my job. It’s a tough one, and you have to be up for the challenge of putting things out there that you love and fight for, but being rejected over and over again. However, the successes make it all worth it.

Hi Sarah – If the agent asked to see more of your work without letting you know specifically how many pages, then I would respond with a query and the first 5 pages, and ask her if she would like to see more.
