I love this–especially the cracking open to reveal your true colors. When we realize how much we as women are impacted by the social construction, that awareness can lead to an incredible awakening. When we have the courage to step away from all of those “shoulds,” and “have dos,” we can find our genuine path. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. I think this happens to many of us who start writing later in our lives. I know I can relate to the image of a chameleon and so appreciate the role that writing (and being around writers) has played in allowing me to feel rather than do.
