I certainly find that my mind solves problems with my plot as I sleep and sometimes dream scenes too. The coincidences that occur surrounding my writing life are uncanny too. Maybe as writers we tap into a different level of consciousness. Almost certainly! When we are writing which is most real to us ~ the world we are writing about or the one we are living in?
