Julie, do you write as well? I too find the connection of personal ties to history fascinating. In fact, it’s been more like revelation. As I learn about the US Civil War from documentaries, I realize some of the songs I grew up singing were from that period. When I watched a movie about Henry III, I remembered my Dad used to sing a song about a queen who lost her head. More and more I’m seeing we are in the ocean of history all the time, whether or not we see it. Long story long, we’re loving working with three authors right now who have bridges across cultures and time. Eye opening and delightful. Thank you for commenting. – Anora McGaha, Editor
