Wonderful interview. I’ve had the good fortune to get to know MariJo in the last year and discover her many gifts. She’s prolific in her creative output and dedicated to healing and helping others. Her writing style is straightforward, insightful and full of practical wisdom. I’m very happy to call her a friend and support her work!

MariJo is an extraordinary human being/writer whose poems, stories, and essays I have read going back for enough years that I can't recall when I first encountered her powerful word-weaving. MariJo is a distinguished author and dear friend to me. The book I read aloud often is Tree Quotes – my first book by her. A Book of Ceremonies and Spiritual Energies Therof is destined to be a classic and is so important right now in this era of Urban Indians who are not on their reservations. We need to stay connected and balanced.
