My abuse has allowed me to understand the silent suffering and sense of abandonment so many women in this world struggle with on a daily basis. Writing has not only helped me heal, but it has encouraged other women to talk about their abuse for the first time in their lives. We are not inferior to the men who claim the top spots in so many fields. We are often many times better and that threat keeps the teeter totter unbalanced.

Your courage and determination are as inspiring as your statistics are depressing. But ultimately, your positivity and reminder about the 10,000 hours and craft leave us all on an even playing field, male or female. Thanks for the reminder to keep getting better and the confirmation and comfort that come from knowing we’re not alone in our dreams!
