Who now, except those at the top 1% of authors will dish out that kind of money to give it away? The curious aspect of this is that Amazon Giveaways are still free. I couldn’t help but wonder if there is some grand scheme to drive giveaways to Amazon from Giveaways, though I know they both belong to Bezos. I will hold one last Goodreads Giveaway before the price gouging goes into effect in January and then I’m out.
