Our interpretation of Fire: “Fire sustains nurtures and takes life, it cooks food, it burns trees, It consumes the departed, and warms the living. It purifies, drives away suffocating darkness and numbing cold. It is the Sun god Surya, it is the fire god Agni, it burns in Naraka, Hell. It is the sign of intelligent life, of nature gone berserk, and a tool of vengeance.”
