It was a pleasure to share my experiences across the waters from Manchester in the UK with American women writers. Sorry for taking so long in writing it. Travelling features quite a big chunk of my life in the last three years. Exciting but also very tiring. I am taking part in two other festivals in the next 4 months. There is the one in Bangkok in November entitled ‘ Reaching the world’ Asia Pacific writers, held at a prestigious university of Chulalongkorn. I am also attending the Karachi Literature festival in February. The founder of this festival, Ameena Saiyid is an amazing woman, heading the Oxford university publishing house in Pakistan. She is a personal friend also and invited me to appear in the next year’s festival. I met her recently at a prestigious international event’Pakistan Power 100′ held in London . We both appeared in the list of famous ‘Pakistani Power 100 Women’ and were also nominated for the arts award.
