I always try to create a Pinterest board for books, but then I forget that I use Pinterest, and it languishes in obscurity. I always thought that meant I wasn’t a visual person, but I have almost always had a real person in my head when I was creating a character… Maybe I just don’t like Pinterest. Thanks for the food for thought!

I am totally going to start using Pinterest in this way. I never thought to do it before. What an elegant solution to remain inspired. Thanks for the tip! I totally feel you on this one. I’ve started tapping into my emotions as I write. It is difficult, but makes all my writing much more interesting and vivid.

Hi Sue.
I create hidden boards for each WIP and save whatever pictures I find that connect me to my story, setting, etc. There are times when I can’t quite get the wording right for a specific thing and those pictures can be a scene-saver. 🙂
